City utility bills mailed Dec. 23
The City of Hallettsville wishes to announce that the January utility bills were mailed at 1:41 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23.
According to City of Hallettsville administrator/secretary Grace Ward, the city has received numerous calls saying that customers have not received their utility bills.
“In the event that you do not receive your utility bill, you are still responsible for paying the total amount due before Jan. 10 to avoid a ten percent penalty on your account,” Ward said. “In the event that you do not receive your bill before the first business day of the month, we do recommend that you reach out to us at 361-798-3681 so that we can help you by giving you the amount due.”
Ward said the city does offer electronic correspondence for anyone who is interested in receiving their utility bill via email.
“This is a free service for our customer’s convenience that would allow you to receive your utility bill as early as possible,” Ward said.
According to City Hall, the City of Hallettsville utility bills are due by Friday, Jan. 10. If you haven’t received your bill please call City Hall at 361-798-3681 ext.1.
