Diocese helps sisters ring in landmark anniversaries
Seven Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament celebrated important anniversaries last month with a special mass presided over by Bishop Brendan Cahill on Saturday, July 16.
"Our hearts are joyful with you today," he said during his homily.
Two of the sisters in attendance—Sister Rosa Sanchez and Sister Claudia Klesel—celebrated 75 years of service, while Sister Mary Juroske, Sister Laura Toman, Sister Marian Sturm and Sister Digna Vela each celebrated 60 years.
Last but certainly not least (unless you’re counting years served, then yes, you have us there) Sister Louise Marie Jones celebrated 15 years served.
All combined, that’s 405 years of dedicated service, given by just seven incredible ladies.
