4-H shooting sports registration opens

Lavaca 4-H Shooting Sports will hold orientation and an organizational meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 6 p.m. at the Appelt’s Hill Gun Club, 4071 CR 204, Hallettsville for youth, age third through 12th grades interested in participating in the Fall 2025 session.

Small-bore Rifle and Shotgun will be offered, instructed by 4-H certified instructors.

In order to participate, youth must be enrolled in Lavaca County 4-H, which is accomplished via online enrollment tyhe 4-H Online at https://texas.4honline.com.

A parental signature will be required.

It is mandatory that all interested participants attend and register on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 6 p.m.
