Hallettsville to host Major LL All-Star Tourneys

Hallettsville will host the Major League (11-12) All-Star Tournament with games starting Friday.

“We are thrilled to host the Majors 12 International Tournament,” said Little League President Ashley Grahmann. “Eight softball teams and six baseball teams will play in the tournament, vying for the East Zone and District 31 championship and have the opportunity to advance to sectionals and state.

“We invite everyone to come out, cheer for our players and teams and enjoy delicious hot dogs and hamburgers,” Grahmann added.

The 10U Minor League and Jr. League will both be playing in Lockhart.

Through sponsorship and donations, Little League was able to purchase a new popcorn machine and new freezer and jointly bought a new scoreboard on Field 2 in partnership with the Sacred Heart Federal Credit Union for $7,000.
