WACO – Errors and walks led to Hallettsville’s undoing in the 6-2 loss to Broken Arrow, Okla. Thursday in the Southwest Regional Tournament.Hallettsville scored a run in the top of the first inning and did not score again until the sixth and final frame.

ROSENBERG – The Hallettsville Major League All-Stars went unscathed in winning the Texas East State Tournament.Hallettsville defeated Sealy, 10-1, Monday evening to advance to the Southwest Regional Tournament in Waco.

Major Boys drop 2 games in Section 4 Tourney

KARNES CITY – The Hallettsville Major League All Stars’ season came to an end with two straight losses in the Section 3 Tournament Tuesday, July 1.The All Stars led West Columbia 4-0 Tuesday, July 1 before everything went haywire.

Major Girls win Section 4 Tourney

KARNES CITY – Good pitching, defense and hitting carried the Hallettsville Major League girls to the Section 4 Tournament championship in the games played at Drs. C.W. and Joyce Kimble field.

Hallettsville Major League baseball advanced to the Sectional Tournament by sweeping New Braunfels Red.Alex Grahmann pitched a one-hitter in a 1-0 victory on Monday, June 23 in Lockhart.Grahmann gave up five hits, no walks and struck out six in going the distance.

Girls defeat Yoakum in finals

LOCKHART – The Hallettsville Major League (11-12) All Stars routed Yoakum via the run the rule, 13-2, in five innings to cop the District 31 East Zone title at American Legion Field Saturday evening.Hallettsville went through the tournament undefeated.

LOCKHART – The Hallettsville Major League All Stars breezed through three opponents in winning the District 31 East zone championship Saturday.Hallettsville defeated Shiner 19-2.Hallettsville scored 10 runs in the first inning and never looked back.

Major League Boys eliminated by West University

NEW BRAUNFELS – The Hallettsville Minor League All-Stars were eliminated by West University, 16-1, Monday evening.West University scored nine first-inning runs and also used five Hallettsville errors in the three-inning game.

Major League Softball advances to Finals

EL CAMPO – With the aid of five errors, the Hallettsville Major League All-Stars moved into the finals of the Texas East State Tournament with a 7-3 victory over Columbus Sunday night.Paelyn Etzler continued her amazing pitching with 12 strikeouts in tossing a two-hitter and a complete game.
