Local cross country: St. Paul’s Frances Filip gets No. 15 at Schulenburg meet
Runners from Shiner ISD and Shiner Catholic School competed in the Schulenburg meet on Thursday.

Frances Filip earned No. 15 with a time of 15 minutes, 29 seconds.
Junior High Girls
SLE scored 112 points to place second.
Anna Boedeker got second with 13:50; Hannah Machacek was No. 24 in 17:21; Wren Chilek was No. 34 in 18:00. Tinley Wagner was No. 44 in 18:46; Jeslyn Garrett was No. 78 in 21:08. Ellie Rodriguez was No. 92 in 23:16 and Elena Basquez was No. 101 in 29:59.
Junior High Boys
SLE boys were second with 127 points.
Luke Barton was fourth in 13:23 and behind him was Ryan Bays in 13:24.
