Moulton girls basketball:Kittens rally for 45-36 win against Pettus

A 17-5 run in the third quarter by Moulton brought them back from 17-14 deficit to a 31-22 lead and eventually a 45-36 win against Pettus Dec. 12 at home.
Both teams scored 14 points in the fourth stanza.
The Kittens led 6-5 after the first quarter but were outscored by Pettus 12-8 in the second box.
Araceli Vasquez banged in 13 points to lead Moulton and Mina Tinajero scored 11 points with three treys. Hayleigh Cruz hit four triples and tallied 20 points to lead Pettus and al scorers.

The Kittens junior varsity held Pettus to just a couple of points in a 41-4 win.
Moulton outscored Pettus 26-2 in the first half and 15-2 in the second half.
Kram led the Kittens with 11 points and one triple.
