Shiner girls golf: LC golf gets 8th at state

    The Lady Comanches golf team placed eighth at the 2A state tournament early last week in Austin.
    Shiner shot 412 on the first day and 415 on the second day for a total of 827.
    Morgan Lenehan led the Lady Comanches with 95-102-197. Callie Chrismon carded 96-104-200; Olivia Akin recorded 111-103-214; Tawni Shelton scored 110-105-215 and Jaeleigh Ramirez went 122-116-238.
    Seniors Lenehan and Chrismon end their Lady Comanches career with an appearance at state, the third in a row.
