Shiner, St. Paul golf: St. Paul, Shiner golf teams compete in St. Paul tourney

St. Paul and Shiner golf teams competed in the St. Paul tournament at Gonzales’ Independence Park Golf Course.
St. Paul
Girls
The St. Paul Red team won first place with 389. Riley Mozisek got second medalist and led the team with 91. Audrey Thibodeaux carded a 94 for third medalist. Faith Brown scored a 97 and got fifth medalist. Reese Seibert got a 107 and ninth medalist. Mary Sue Filip recorded a 115.
St. Paul White had a 452 for third place. Kenley Wyant got 109 and No. 10 medalist. Emma Marshall had an 111, Skylar Mozisek had a 112, Kylie Kelso scored a 120 and Reese Chilek had a 128.
Boys
The Cardinals placed second with 370.
Clay Watkins got 77 for first medalist; Levi Morkovsky carded an 89 for sixth medalist and Jackson Seibert booked a 90 for seventh medalist. Rylan Jalufka had a 120 and Carter Chilek finished with 114.
Individually for the Cardinals, Kash McNabb had a 117 and Jacob Arriola had 117.

Girls
The Lady Comanches scored a team total of 461 to come in fourth. 
Leading the pack was Tawni Shelton who scored a 107. Olivia Akin had a 112; Marie Johnson booked a 117; Raleigh Moore had a 125 and Evy Johnson finished with a 129.
Boys
The Comanches got first place with 352.
Chase Malinovsky had a 78 and got second medalist. Felix Nieto carded an 85 for third medalist. 
Aidan Stowe got an 88 for fourth medalist; Chance Thiele got eighth medalist with 101 and Marco Lara had a 105.
