St. Paul boys basketball: Cards win season opener

St. Paul scored two dozen points and yielded one point in the first quarter of their 2023-24 opener against Faith Lutheran at home Nov. 28 for a 53-28 win.
Faith Lutheran outscored St. Paul 7-6 in the second box for a St. Paul 30-8 halftime lead.
The Cardinals went on a 17-8 run in the third and endured the Falcons scored 12 of 18 points in the fourth frame.
St. Paul had 10 players score points, led by Carter Chilek who led all scorers with 10 points.
Falcons were led by Robert who scored nine points, all on triples.
