St. Paul softball: Extra-base hits help SP defeat Waco Reicher

Lady Cardinal batters had that “extra” step Thursday in their area-round game against Waco Bishop Reicher in Manor.
St. Paul had nine extra-base hits out of 12 hits in the game with eight doubles and a triple in a 13-3 win in five innings.
St. Paul outscored Reicher 1-0 in the initial inning, 4-0 in the second and outscored them 8-2. 
Reicher scored one run in the top of the fourth.
Annie Werner went 3-for-4, double, RBI and two runs; Emery Kennedy swung 2-for-3, triple, double, two runs and two RBI while Presley Tuch hit 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI.
Tatum Walker ceded three runs on a no-hitter with eight walks and nine strikeouts.
Addy Matias had four putouts on defense.
