Yoakum High School (YHS) student athletes participated in the State Track Meet May 14 in Austin.In the Girls 200 Meter Dash, YHS 12th grader Jayla Hessler placed fourth with a time of 25.03.In the Boys 200 Meter Dash, YHS 11th grader Kennan Dilworth placed eighth with a time of 21.97.In the Boys Triple Jump, YHS 12th grader X’Zavier Barnett placed sixth with a time of 45- 1.50.
