Yoakum Track and Field: Sprint-relay team earns third place

The Yoakum boys track team had two relay teams compete in the UIL state  meet Thursday at Mike A. Meyers Stadium in Austin. The Bulldogs brought a medal back to Yoakum.
The 400-meter relay team of Jayden Jones, Cavan Smith, Qyion Williams and KaDarius Price won a Bronze medal with a time of 42.11 seconds.
The 800-relay team of  Jones, Smith, Williams and Price placed sixth with a team time of 1:29.30.
