Yoakum volleyball: Spikers beat Tidehaven in sweep

Jayana Phillips had 20 kills and Macie Blakeney had 31 assists as the Lady Bulldogs volleyball team racked up another district win Friday with a 25-14, 25-19, 25-11 sweep of Tidehaven.
Addison Pekar had four kills, two digs; Blakeney also had five digs, two kills, one ace; Brooke Prasek added one kill, one dig; Deazia Rios had nine digs, two aces; Destiny Rios wrote in seven kills, two digs; Phillips had seven digs; Leah Muenich contributed three aces, three digs; Madison Gonzales had two aces, two digs; Olivia Fojt produced seven digs, one ace; Samantha Adamek had one kill, one digs; Macie Williams had three kills, three aces, two digs, one block.

Yoakum won the junior varsity match 25-20, 25-17 and took the freshmen match 25-8, 25-21.
