Yoakum volleyball:Phillips, Adamek help Yoakum to three-set win over Lady Mustangs

Jayana Phillips (14) and Samathan Adamek (13) teamed for 27 total kills as Yoakum swept Nixon-Smiley 25-9, 25-23, 25-10 Aug. 29.
Additionally for the Lady Bulldogs , Addison Pekar had nine kills, five digs, one solo block; Hannah Schultz added four kills; Phillips also had eight digs; Leach Muenich provided two digs; Macie Blakeney had 38 assists, three aces, four digs, two solo blocks; Madison Gonzales totaled one kill, one ace, four digs; McKenna New had two digs; Olivia Fojt contributed two aces, 16 digs; Taylor Velek finished with one kill, one ace, four digs.
