MPD’s welfare concern issued on missing woman rescinded Thursday

Moulton Police Department’s published welfare concern for a local woman issued earlier this week after family members reached out to local law enforcement expressing concerns for her wellbeing, having not seen or heard from her in a couple of weeks, was rescinded early Thursday afternoon.
State law, in some cases, prevents school and law enforcement officials from releasing certain types of identifying information. Doing otherwise not only opens them to civil liability, it can result criminal proceedings as well under Texas privacy codes.
