The annual St. Mary’s Catholic Church picnic is scheduled for this Sunday with all activities taking place on the church’s grounds located at 1648 FM 340, west of Hallettsville.The picnic will begin with a celebration of Mass at 9:15 a.m.

Even triple digit heat didn't keep people away Sunday when members of St. Mary's Catholic Church near Hallettsville hosted their annual June picnic. There was plenty of food to eat, and plenty of cold drinks to drink, though.
