Update on Yoakum Little League Park improvements

Yoakum has been working hard at reinvigorating the Little League Park over the years. Raymond Rosas has been President of the Little League Park for the past four years and, already, he said there’s been some major changes. “We’ve done quite a bit of stuff.

Council approves city ordinances

The City of Yoakum approved a couple of city ordinances at the Nov. 14 council meeting to keep Yoakum clean. “The first ordinance deals with the solid waste containers that the city utilizes,” City Clerk Theresa Bowe said.

Moulton UIL Results

On Nov. 6 and 7, the Moulton ISD team hosted the U.I.L. Competition for surrounding schools. The results for seventh grade are as follows. In Art, Ava Olivarez landed a second place. In Calculator Application, Ava brought home a first place, and Joe Juarez brought home a 5th place.

Vendor deadline set Nov. 23 for Mingle on Main

Vendors wanting to take part in the fourth annual Mingle on Main in Moulton have until tommorow (Friday, Nov. 24) to let Danielle Buehring know so they can reserve you a space. The event itself takes place just two weeks from now on Saturday, Dec. 9.

HISD teachers receive Dyslexia training
