Court holds two meetings

Over the past week, the Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court held two separate meetings with one being its regular and the other a special-called meeting. Due to Monday, Oct. 9, the regular meeting date, the court met on Tuesday, Oct.

Lavaca County elections administrator resigns

Burning bans still on in Lavaca, DeWitt counties

Founders’ Invitational Rodeo happens this weekend

The sights and sounds of yesteryear will be heard this weekend as the 9th annual Texas State Championship High School Rodeo Founders’ Invitational will take place at the William and Alton Allen Exposition Center in Hallettsville this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14-15.
