Those arrests contributed to an average daily prisoner population of 93 inmates at the DeWitt County Jail, 13 of whom included prisoners housed for other agencies.

The first cyber security crime in DeWitt County history deceived county staff in June, according to County Judge Daryl Fowler. This led to $305,301.
