Victor Charles Vasek, 80, of Hallettsville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 25, 2024.  He was born in Hallettsville to Emanuel and Hermina Vasek on March 24, 1944.  On August 27, 1966, he married the love of his life, Lucille Helmcamp Vasek.

Rosalinda "Rosie" Rivera

Rosalinda “Rosie” Rivera, 63, of Yoakum, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was born in Shiner, to Joe and Sylvia (Rosas) Rivera. Rosie was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. When Rosie graduated from High School, she began her first job at HEB in Yoakum.

Mildred A. Roznovsky

Mildred A. Roznovsky (Pospisil), 90, of Shiner, peacefully passed away and joined our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Shiner Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on December 2, 1933, to her parents Annie Gast and Aurelius J. Pospisil in Praha, Texas.

Sarah Ann Sralik

Sarah Ann Sralik, beloved wife, mother, Nana, sister and aunt went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024, at the age of 76. Born Feb. 6, 1948, in Austin, she was the youngest daughter of the late Olin and Myrtle Teer.Sarah grew up in Pflugerville.

Eric Michael Hartmann, 41, of Shiner, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 15, 2024. He was born May 28, 1983 in Shiner, to Venice Kindred and the late Michael Hartmann.

Michael Pohl Brier

Michael Pohl Brier, 74, of Hallettsville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024.He was born on Dec. 12, 1949, to John and Janet Brier in San Antonio.Michael was a kindhearted, charismatic son, brother, father, and grandpa.

Bessie Elnora Janota Neill Garner

Bessie Elnora Janota Neill Garner died peacefully on the 13th day of September, 2024.  Bessie was born on October 5, 1929, in DaCosta, Texas, to Martha Christine (née:Hubenak) and Henry E. Janota.  She was the third of five children and grew up in a Czech community near Victoria.

 Kenneth W. Wrobleski

On August 19, 2024 he gained his wings to heaven. His parents are Ambrose Wrobleski Sr. and Dolores Wrobleski. Survivors include four sisters Donna Raijos, Amanda Page, Jeannie Joiner and April Wrobleski Herring of Hallettsville: two brothers, Stephen Wrobleski and Ambrose Wrobleski Jr.

E L Mayberry

E L Mayberry, 82, of Shiner, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024.He was born December 19, 1941 in Gonzales, to R L and Odessa James Mayberry. He was a welder and a carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing dominos, cooking and BBQ.

Michael Dewayne Seale

Michael Dewayne Seale peacefully passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024 at the age of 66, surrounded by his family. Mike was born on Aug. 26, 1958 in Houston,  to Franklin Seale and Dalphelene (Hughes) Seale.Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
