Lainey Marie Pustejovsky, left the arms of her family and went to rest with Jesus on June 9, 2024, at 12:07 p.m.  As the day approached for Lainey’s delivery Grant and Ashley got the devastating news that in the womb, Lainey’s body was showing signs of medical issues.

Dennis L. Howell, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2024  in Kyle.  Dennis was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota, to Bob and Lucille Howell.  He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Howell; one son and one daughter; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two brothers.

Dorothy Louise Ehler, lifelong resident of Hallettsville, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2024, at the age of 95. She was born on Jan. 6, 1929 to Leonard and Marie Davenport Bonorden. She graduated from HHS in 1946, and in 1947 she married Henry “Bootsie” Ehler.
