Evelyn M. Dornak, 83, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, surrounded by her family. Evelyn was a 1956 graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic School.

Jeanette Crisp Odneal

Jeanette Crisp Odneal passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022 at the age of 92. Jeanette was born on Feb. 5, 1930 in Hearne.  She married Charles Lee Crisp and they had four children.  After Charles’ passing she met M.C. Odneal and they were married for 15 years.  After M.C.

Shirley Ann Bolom

Shirley Ann Bolom, age 70, passed away Sept. 9. She was born March 13, 1952 in Yoakum to Victor and Helen Mikulenka Clark. She worked at Huth Memorial Hospital, Pizza Hut, and Eddy Packing Company. She enjoyed watching wrestling and listening to Texas Thunder Radio.

Claro Fernandez Guerra

Claro Fernandez Guerra, age 88, passed away Oct. 15. He was born in Victoria County on Aug. 12, 1934 to Gregorio and Maria Fernandez Guerra. He was a hard worker and a Catholic. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, wood working, and gardening.

Ina Kathleen “Kathy” Vahalik

Ina Kathleen “Kathy” Vahalik, 69, of Yoakum, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, at her home in Yoakum.  Kathy was born on Oct. 1, 1953 in San Antonio to Freddie Chapman and Lester Dodson.

Kolson Jacobs

YOAKUM: Kolson Brock Jacobs, age 19, went to be with our Lord and his heavenly family Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born April 11, 2003 in Ufa, Russia, and at the age of 18 months, he became the treasured son of Jake and Phyllis Jacobs.

Lorin Miller

SHINER: Lorin “Lolo” Gayle Miller was born January 20, 2004, in Victoria, Texas to Jason and Gina (Sablatura) Miller. She was baptized and became a child of God on January 7, 2007 and was welcomed to the supper of the Lamb receiving her first holy communion on April 21, 2013.

Daniel Hobbins

Daniel Clifford Hobbins, 59, passed away peacefully from his Shiner home into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 26, 2022. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Shiner Baptist Church. Family visitation begins at 10 a.m.

Lillian Supak

Lillian Supak, 96, passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022 at home in Moulton.  Lillian was born in Moulton, on June 2, 1926 to Fred Kubicek and Josephina Stasny.  Lillian was one of the founding members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Corpus Christi.

Dorothy Lee "Dottie B" Perkins Arnold

Life’s Pathway  Dorothy Lee Perkins Arnold was born in Hallettsville on Oct. 6, 1947, to the late Rev. L. Perkins and the late Frankie Foley Perkins. She was the second of six children born to this union.  She attended and graduated from the all-black Stevens-Mayo High School, class of 1966.
