YOAKUM: It is with great sorrow that the family of Bruce S. Card, Jr. announces his passing on October 19, 2025, at the age of 92. Bruce was born July 4, 1933, in Lindenau, Texas, to the late Bruce S. Card Sr. and Gladys (Frisbie) Card.

Dolores Ann Leared, 77, of Shiner, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1948 in Shiner, to the late Frank and Henrietta (Polasek) Streng.Dolores graduated from St. Paul High School and became a LVN nurse.

Otto Koliba Jr.

Otto Robert Koliba Jr., 69, of Shiner, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025. He was born December 10, 1955 in Yoakum, the only son born to Otto Robert Koliba Sr. and Marie (Malinovsky) Koliba.Otto grew up on the Koliba family homestead where he loved hunting and fishing with his dad.
