Shiner baseball: Shiner blanks Lions 10-0

The Shiner baseball team had four-run sparks in the third and sixth innings to defeat Fayetteville 10-0 in six  March 24 at Green-Dickson Park.

Shiner girls golf: Shiner girls golf A team wins district, spot at regionals

The Shiner A girls golf team placed first at the district meet with a team score of 450 April 1 at Weimar to move on to regionals as a team.Olivia Akin was first medalist by shooting 57-52-109. Jaeleigh Ramirez was second medalist with 59-53-112.Addie Prove was third medalist by carding 61-52-113.

Shiner softball: Lady Comanches blank Louise, BHS

Shiner scored 50 runs and allowed none in district win over Bloomington and Louise last week.Shiner 26, Louise 0The Lady Comanches scored 19 runs from 12 hits and four Louise errors in the second inning for a 26-0 win on Thursday to complete the sweep of the Lady Hornets.

St. Paul softball: SH stages late rally to down Lady Cards

The Sacred Heart Indianettes got the bats going late.The Indianettes outscored St. Paul 13-2 in the last three innings for a 16-9 comeback win March 30 at the Shiner Starplex.Sacred Heart totaled 19 hits including four home runs with Avery Beach hitting two of them.St.

Moulton baseball: Katz run rule Victoria Gators 12-2

An eight-run third inning saw the Moulton baseball team earn its first win.The Bobkatz downed Victoria Gators homeschool 12-2 in five innings March 31 at the Moulton City Park.It was only the fourth outing for the 2026 Moulton team.“We are getting better.

Columbus Cardinals win against Yoakum Lady Bulldogs 12-2

Kilynn Poole went 1-for-2 with one run and Teagan Ratley scored one run in Yoakum’s 12-2 loss at Columbus on March 24.Columbus scored half a dozen in the second inning to break a scoreless game; they outscored Yoakum 3-0 in the third box.

YHS Bulldogs:1-1 in a pair of district contests last week

Yoakum lost at Tidehaven and won against Palacios in district games last week.TIDEHAVEN 3, YOAKUM 0Tidehaven blanked Yoakum 3-0 on March 24 in Tidehaven with some early-inning runs.The Tigers scored one run in each of the first through third innings.
