Brahmas defeat Stockdale 6-1, 12-2

KENEDY – The Hallettsville Brahmas swept Stockdale 6-1, 12-2 to win their bi-district 3A Division II series Thursday night.

Hudson Chenard overcame a shaky first inning and pitched a complete game in the 6-1 victory.

Chenard threw 25 pitches in the first inning when Stockdale scored its lone run on a single by Coy Gunn. Chenard finished with 91 pitches for the game.
