Shiner baseball: Shiner hammers BHS 25-0

The Shiner Comanches exploded for 20 runs in the fourth inning to demolish Bloomington 25-0 March 12 in Bloomington.The Comanches led just 1-0 after the first inning and did not score a run in the second frame.

St. Paul softball: Lady Cardinals blank Moulton 15-0

The St. Paul softball team played differing roles in two games.On March 11, the Lady Cardinals fell in a doubleheader at San Antonio FEAST Homeschool 7-5 and 20-1.The next day, they defeated Moulton 15-0 in four innings.“Sometimes you are the hammer and sometimes you are the nail.

Shiner softball: Lady Comanches softball gets five wins over spring break

The Lady Comanches had a packed Spring Break with a doubleheader at Bloomington March 11, hosted Nixon-Smiley in a doubleheader on March 12 and hosted Schulenburg on Thursday.

YHS Lady Bulldogs win one, tie one

The Yoakum High School (YHS) Lady Bulldogs scored 11 runs in the top of the first and rolled to a 12-1 win against Rice March 5 in Rice.Olivia Fojt went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three runs and six RBI. Madisen Grant batted 2-for-2, RBI, and two runs. Lexi Zaruba was 2-for-3, a double, and a run.

Indians 11, Cobras 1 (5)

It started raining at the end of the Victoria Cobra-Sacred Heart Indian game, but as far as the Cobras were concerned, it rained the entire game.The Indians defeated the Cobras 11-1 in five innings here Monday, March 4.

Indianettes 2-0-2 in Flatonia

FLATONIA – The Sacred Heart Indians went 2-0-2 in the Flatonia Tournament Thursday and Friday.Sacred Heart if 15-4-2 on the season.SH 15, Flatonia 0 (3)Ella Demel homered and was the winning pitcher in Saturday’s game victory over Flatonia.
