September has smallest rain total this year
A paltry total of two-tenths of an inch of rain made September the driest month this year. The lack of rain was aided by hot temperatures reaching triple digit marks on several days. The hottest temp of 103 was hit on the second.
The rain total was far below normal adding little to the year’s total of 30.04 inches which is below the normal average of 31.80 inches.
