After 74 years, Tumis under new ownership

    After 74 years in business, Tumis Tire & Auto a.k.a. Tumis Exxon is under new ownership.

    The business will now be known as Silgero’s Tire & Auto.

    “My dad (George) opened in 1952 and I took over in 1982,” Tommy Tumis said. “ I kept it for 35 years until my son Bradley took over nine years ago. “I have a lot of people to thank for trading with me over all these years. The business helped get my two boys through college and a lot of other things,” he added. “We intend to service customers as in the past and we will appreciate everybody’s business,” Justice Silgero said.
