David E. Jones

David Edward Jones, 17, of Moulton, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026.
He was born on September 5, 2008 in Houston, to Jeremy and Shana Culpepper Jones.
David was an extraordinary young man, full of courage, innocence, strength and grit. He had a way of being the center of attention in any room and a talent for making everyone he met feel heard.  
He enjoyed horseback riding, swimming, watching Star Trek and Stranger Things, spending time under the canopies of Moulton’s ancient oak trees, and above all, his family. David was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his parents, Jeremy and Shana Jones; sister, Claudia Jones; twin brother, Donnie Jones; maternal grandparents, David and Macy Culpepper; paternal grandmother, Rosemary Mach and paternal grandfather, J. Don Jones.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9 at Sts Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, with Deacon Michael Morkovsky officiating.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, with thr Rev. Jacob Mendoza officiating. 
Burial will follow at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are William Thomas Mach III, Andrew Joseph Mach, Daniel James Mach, Byron Goble, Mark Reilly and Joshua Culpepper.
Memorial contributions may be given to Special C.H.E.E.R.S. (www.specialcheers.com), Sts Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton.
