’Nettes begin season 2-0

The Indianettes opened the 2026 season with two victories.

The latest was a an 8-7 walk-off win over New Braunfels Thunder here Thursday.

Phoenix Richter scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh on a fielder’s choice.

Ainsley Grahmann was the winning pitcher in relief. The sophomore righthander gave up one hit and struck out one in the two innings she worked.
