LB 17, PALACIOS 2 (4)The Lady Brahma Jr. Varsity defeated Palacios, 17-2, in Palacios Tuesday, April 2.Elizabeth Felcman was the winning pitcher and gave up two runs, three hits, walked one and struck out five.Taylor Yeatts and Brenna Mikush had three hits apiece. Yeatts doubled and tripled.

SH golf team advance to state

The Sacred Heart Indians and Indianettes advanced to the TAPPS state tournament as a result of their play in district at The Golf Club at Texas A&M Tuesday, April 2.The Indianettes had a second place finish with a team total of 443. St. Paul won the title with a 426.

Brahmas right the ship in wins over Bulldogs, Sharks

The Hallettsville Brahmas had revenge on their minds when they took the field against Yoakum here Friday night in a District 25-AAA contest.The Brahmas atoned for the 4-2 loss to the Bulldogs in Yoakum March 12 with a 10-0 victory.

Sacred Heart notched its second TAPPS District 5 Division IV victory with a 9-1 victory over Bulverde Bracken Christian School here Friday.The issue was in doubt until the Indians scored seven runs in fifth inning in four hits, an error and four walks.

'Nettes whip St. Paul

The Sacred Heart Indianettes tore into St. Paul, 23-8, in a TAPPS District 5 Division IV game here Thursday.The Lady Cardinals took a 6-3 lead through three innings before SH went on a rampage with two runs in fourth inning and a big 10-run fifth.

Lady Bulldogs soccer return to the playoffs after setting program highs in games won, goals scored

While the Lady Bulldogs may not have won the game, it was pleasing to both team and fans to be back in the playoffs after a short absence.Yoakum hosted the Pleasanton Lady Eagles March 26 at Bulldog Stadium for the first Lady Bulldog playoff game since the bi-district round in 2021.

The Yoakum High School (YHS) Bulldog Baseball Team split a pair of road games last week against Tidehaven and Edna.TIDEHAVEN 3, YOAKUM 1Several early runs for Tidehaven for enough to see them past Yoakum 3-1 in Tidehaven on March 26.
