St. Paul baseball: Cardinals get win in Sacred Heart tournament

The St. Paul baseball team went 1-2 in the Sacred Heart Tournament last week.Schulenburg 9, SP 1It was rough start for the Cardinals in the tournament in their opening against Schulenburg. St. Paul got just one run on two hits and committed five errors on defense in a 9-1 loss.

Lady ‘Dogs soccer draw with YWLA

The Yoakum Lady Bulldogs soccer endured their first district defeat when they hosted La Vernia on Feb. 20, falling 4-1. Rubi Martinez was the goal scorer for the Lady ‘Dogs. The boys soccer team was dealt an 8-0 loss against La Vernia.
