SJS Tigers 69, St. Michael Swords 34

The St. Joseph School (SJS) Tigers rolled to their highest point production of the season in a big win against the St. Michael Swords in Weimar at Wildcat Stadium. The SJS Tigers amassed 498 yards of total offense that included 354 yards rushing and 144 through the air.

The Yoakum Bulldogs’ bye week might have come at a good time. After losing their district opener to Hitchcock 62-32, Yoakum had a little extra time to prepare for the No. 1 Cardinals who defeated Hitchcock 52-24 last week to remain undefeated. At 49.

The Sacred Heart Indianettes have lost only one set in TAPPS District 5, Division I play and that was to Pflugerville Concordia Lutheran. The Indianettes took on Pflugerville Concordia here Tuesday, Oct. 10 and came out 25-18, 25-19, 26- 24 victors.

Indians End Drought With 31-14 Win Over Cardinals

SHINER – The Sacred Heart Indians overcame the loss of quarterback Andrew Steffek and defeated the St. Paul Cardinals, 31-14, at Comanche Stadium Friday night. “It was a tremendously gutsy and gritty performance by our kids,” head coach Alex Seydler said.

St. Paul volleyball: Pflugerville Concordia beats Lady Cards in three

St. Paul played Pflugerville Concordia close in the opening set Thursday in Pflugerville, 25-18 before losing the next two, 25-10 and 25-16.
