Shiner track and field: Shiner track teams at Rice meet

St. Paul softball: SMH 6, St. Paul 3

Annie Werner went 2-for-2 with a home run and one RBI while Addy Matias batted 1-for-2, home run and one RBI as the St. Paul Lady Cardinals fell in the season opener Feb. 25 at Shiner Starplex to San Antonio St. Mary’s Hall 6-3.

St. Paul softball: Jasek signs with Sterling College for softball

For the last two summers prior to her senior year, Lady Cardinal softball athlete Alyssa Jasek attended summer camps at Sterling College in Sterling, Kan.

Shiner softball: Lady Comanches win district opener, go 5-1 at SH tourney

The Lady Comanches softball team won their district opener against Flatonia and went 5-1 in the Sacred Heart Tournament last week.Shiner 18, Flatonia 0Reagan Fluitt went 2-for-3, one home run, two total runs, a triple and four RBI to lead Shiner to an 18-0 win in three innings Feb.

Shiner baseball: Comanche nine win SH Tournament

Shiner went 1-1 against the Hallettsville teams and won the Sacred Heart Tournament in its first several games of the season.Shiner 6, Hallettsville Sacred Heart 1The Comanches turned in five runs in the bottom of the fourth to add to a 1-0 lead and eventually post a 6-1 win over the Indians Feb.

Moulton track and field: Track teams in action at Flatonia meet
