Shiner routed Stockdale in its only action last week.Shiner 15, Stockdale 0The Lady Comanches scored seven runs in the first inning and eight more in the third to send Stockdale home quickly 15-0 Feb. 17 in Shiner.Dyllan Chrismon had a nice game on both sides.

GIDDINGS — The Milano Eagles, from what Shiner saw, does not typically convert close to 10 treys a game.In the 2ADII bi district game at Buffalo Gymnasium in Giddings, Milano hit nine triples as they sent Shiner out of the playoffs with a 62-52 defeat.

The Hallettsville Brahmas trailed the Alumni 4-0 after two and a half innings before coming back with a seven-run third to win 26-7.After the Alumni scored two runs in the top of the fourth, the Brahmas put across 9 runs in the bottom of the frame.

The Sacred Heart Indians dropped their season opener to Smithville in extra innings, 3-1 here Monday.The Tigers pushed across two runs in the top of the 10th on three walks and an RBI single by Thomas Davis.There was a lot of traffic on the bases.

Grace Halata pitched around 7 walks and hit a two-run homer that decided the issue in the Hallettsville Lady Brahmas’ 4-3 victory over Ganado in their home opener here Monday afternoon.Hallettsville trailed 3-2 entering the bottom of the sixth inning.
