Sweet Home ISD donates to Sweety Home firemen

The Sweet Home School surprised local firefighters with a $2,000 donation to the Sweet Home Volunteer Fire Department. Students raised the funds by participating in a penny war fundraiser back in the fall. “Thank you and much appreciation to the Sweet Home School and the students for this generous donation to our department,” a rather moved Fire Chief Larry Kupka said, adding that the fire department would be donating $1,000 back to the school.
