Apaches 52, Brahmas 48
The Hallettsville Brahmas gave up a 7-point lead in the fourth quarter in a 52-48 loss to Gonzales here Tuesday, December 5.
The Brahmas were up 41-34 at the end of three periods before the Apaches came back with a vengeance. Jeremy Hunt scored 9 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter to lead the comeback.
The Apaches won the game at the foul line, making 10 of 14 attempts while the Brahmas were 5 of 7.
The Brahmas raced out to a 16-10 lead at the end of the first period with Seth Migura providing 7 of the points.
Gonzales came back with a 12-6 surge in the second to pull even at the half, 22-22.
Three players were in double figures for the Brahmas led by William Mundine IV with 13.
