Brahmas clinch District

The Hallettsville Brahmas clinched the District 25-AAA championship with two victories over Palacios last week.

The Brahmas are 21-3 overall and 12-0 in district with two games remaining.

Good teams find a way to win and the Brahmas did that in the 3-2 victory over Palacios here Tuesday, April 15.

The Brahmas were at sea for the first five innings before rallying for three runs in the sixth inning.

Preston Wagner led off with a single and Brock Bludau walked. Jorian Wilson doubled down the right field line to score Preston Wagner. Tanner Wagner was intentionally walked. Carter Blaha ensued with a two-run double to right center.

Andrew George was the winning pitcher in relief and Weston Loudon got the save.
