    AUSTIN – The Hallettsville Brahmas ended up 10th at the UIL State Golf Championships at Grey Rock Golf Club Tuesday, April 30.

    The Brahmas shot 354-361-715. Brady Copley has been steady all season and carded an 80-80-160. Eli Ferguson was next with a 91-91-182, Adam Stock came in with a 89-96-185, Tanner Cliffe 97-94-190 and Layne Gerke 97-94-191.

    Liberty Abilene Cooper won the team title and totaled a 617 to win by 35 strokes while Bowie finished third with a 650. Brock, last year’s state champion, was second with a 668.
