LB, Brahmas third in District track and field meet
ALTAIR – The Hallettsville Lady Brahmas had their best finish in ages at the District 15-AAA Track and Field Meet Wednesday and Thursday at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Lady Brahmas and Br finished third in the meet.
The LB had two double winners in Elizabeth Felcman and Danna Jansky.
Jansky won the shot (36-0) and discus (123-5) while Felcman took the first in the 1600 (5:48) and the 3200 (12:52).
Kaden Willis won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.70 seconds and the 300 intermediates with a time of 39.54. He was also ran on the 4x100 relay which finished second.
Colt Edmonds won the 100 (10.69) and 200 (21.38) and ran a leg on the second place 4x100 relay.
Aiden Drozd won the discus with a throw of 155 feet and was second in the shot with a best of 44 feet, 10 inches.
