Shiner Lady Comanches Basketball: Camp held for future Lady Comanches

Future Lady Comanches (3-5 graders) and (6-8 graders) attended this years basketball skills and drills camp. Each attendee received a camp T-shirt and some were lucky enough to go home with a camp basketball donated by Wrangler Trucking. Instructors, Coach Neal and Mrs.

The 2A state finalists Shiner Comanches won several spots on the 2022 2A-28 All-District Baseball team. Junior pitcher/infielder Ryan Peterson won Overall Most Valuable Player and junior infielder/pitcher Drew Wenske was selected as the Offensive MVP.

The Shiner Comanches baseball team’s hard work and effort this season has paid off with a back-to-back trips to the state tournament. Shiner (33-0) will play in the UIL Class 2A state semifinals against Garrison (31-7-1)  at 7 p.m. at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock.
