Shiner managed 10 hits  but scored a deluge of runs in a 30-0 win in three innings March 4 at Bloomington.The Lady Comanches scored 15 runs in the first inning, 10 in the second and five in the third.Brinley Ramirez led Shiner at the plate by going 3-for-3, two runs, four RBI and one triple.

Shiner track and field: Shiner girls track gets runner up in EB

The Shiner track and field teams competed at the East Bernard Brahma Relays on Thursday.Varsity GirlsThe Shiner varsity girls were runners up with 73 points.JaMya Wright won the 400-meter dash; JaLeah Curtis was second in the 100 and third in the 200. Shiner won the 400 relay.

St. Paul baseball: SP nine go 1-2 in Flatonia tourney

The St. Paul baseball team went 1-2 in the Flatonia Tournament last weekend.St. Paul 9, Schulenburg 8The Cardinals scored seven runs at their first  time at bat and held off Schulenburg 9-8 to start the tournament on Thursday.Each team scored one run in the second to keep St.

Shiner won its first district game and went 3-1 in the Hallettsville TournamentShiner 16, Bloomington 0Jake Simper went 4-for-4 with three runs, one home run, double and five RBI to help Shiner post a 16-0 win at Bloomington on March 3 to open district play.

St. Paul softball: Lady Cardinals get win in Flatonia Tournament

The Lady Cardinals were edged by Boerne Geneva and went 1-3 in the Flatonia Tournament last week.Boerne Geneva 9, SP 7Boerne Geneva scored half a dozen runs in the bottom of the fifth and it was enough to rally for a 9-7 win against St. Paul March 3 in Boerne.
