Shiner football: Comanches shut down Beavers 21-3

Shiner and Falls City each had at least three trips inside the opponent’s 30 yard-line.It was the Comanches who did better capitalizing as they beat the Beavers 21-3 on Friday in their first varsity action since a 56-7 win over Luling Sept. 27.

St. Paul football: Indians bring down SP 28-6

The St. Paul Cardinals football team had a good first quarter against Sacred Heart on Friday.The Cardinals scored a touchdown and allowed no points for the Indians.Unfortunately for the Cardinals, things would not stay that way for the rest of the game as Sacred Heart rallied to defeat St.

Shiner football: Shiner district game at Charlotte canceled

For the second week in a row, the Shiner Comanches varsity football did not play a game.Due to not having enough healthy players to play a varsity game, the Charlotte Trojans forfeited the scheduled Oct. 11 game in Charlotte.
