A Certificate of Achievement was given to County Auditor Neomi Williams at the DeWitt County Commissioners Court meeting March 10.“The work that is done by Neomi is phenomenal,” DeWitt County Sheriff Carl Bowen said.

DeWitt County Commissioners made a proclamation designating the first week in March as DeWitt County Youth Livestock Show Week at the Feb. 24 meeting.

DeWitt County Commissioners received information about the State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry (STEAR) at the Jan. 13 meeting.“The STEAR program is free,” Emergency Management Coordinator Billy Jordan Jr. said. “It’s an assistance registry.

DeWitt Commissioners receive 4H quarterly update, ban some fireworks

The DeWitt County Commissioners Court received a quarterly update from the 4H group and the County Extension Agent at the Dec. 9 meeting.The group’s ambassadors gave an update on some of the projects they did throughout the last couple of months.
