St. Paul football: Flatonia gets by Cardinals 49-26

St. Paul opened the 2023 season at Flatonia, coming up a little short 49-26. The Cardinals opened scoring in the first quarter with a 2-yard run by Nate Boedeker to take a 7-0 lead. Flatonia scored later for a 7-7 score after the end of the first quarter.

St. Paul volleyball: Lady Cards beat SM Hill Country

The St. Paul Lady Cardinals played a road match at San Marcos Hill Country on Thursday and played in the one-day Bellville Faith Academy Tournament on Saturday. St. Paul 3, Hill County 1 The Lady Cardinals beat San Marcos Hill Country 25-23, 19-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Local cross country:Cross-country teams open in Yoakum

St. Paul and Shiner ISD cross-country teams ran in their first meet Saturday at the Yoakum Invitational. St. Paul Both St. Paul girls and boys opened the season with top 10 finishes. Varsity Girls The Lady Cardinals scored 199 points for eighth place. Top St.

St. Paul football: Cards start with FHS

The St. Paul Cardinals played their second scrimmage of the season, at Weimar on last Thursday and will open at Flatonia Weimar Scrimmage The Cardinals scrimmaged Weimar and Rice Consolidated in Weimar. St. Paul and Weimar each scored one touchdown while the Cardinals scored once against Rice.

St. Paul volleyball: Lady Cardinals find way to win in five-set match against Flatonia

The Lady Cardinals needed to make a personnel change in the third set of their season opener against Flatonia with a 2-0 lead in the match. Flatonia took advantage of the change and St. Paul serving struggles in the fourth game to tie the match at 2-2 before St. Paul came back to win the third game.

St. Paul Volleyball:Lady Cards varsity win match against alumni

The St. Paul Lady Cardinals held their annual alumni volleyball scrimmage on Saturday. The 2023 varsity defeated the Alumni team 3-2. The Lady Cardinals are very appreciative of all that Lady Cardinals alumni that came to play.
