Sydney Green, 2022 St. Paul graduate, played utility in her freshman season (2023) for the East Texas Baptist University Tiger softball team, seeing action at the plate and in the field. Green played in both games of the season-opening doubleheader at home against Trinity on Feb. 18.

The 2023 TAPPS state Division V baseball tournament will not be Jackson Ulcak’s final baseball action. The St. Paul 2023 member and baseball standout will have several more years to compete on the hardball field.

Whether coaching or having played the game at some point, the entire Pokluda family has a long and storied history with softball. The family has a history of winnings TAPPS state softball championships with the St. Paul Cardinals program.
