If you are looking for something to do this weekend, you might consider driving to Moulton for their annual Town and Country Jamboree.The Jamboree kicks off Saturday with a softball tournament starting at 8 a.m.The Moulton Jamboree parade will take place at 10:30 a.m.

The Moulton Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual Moulton Jamboree beginning Saturday, July 26.“I encourage all citizens from Moulton and the surrounding areas to attend,” Moulton Chamber President Anna Bartos said. “Our event is a family-fun event and it’s not high pressured.

George Kalisek to host 'Jamboree Kick-Off'

The day before the Moulton Jamboree, there will be a kick-off hosted by George Kalisek at George’s Hall and Park on Friday, July 26.It will be an evening of music and dancing with refreshments and hamburgers available throughout the event.
In addition to claiming the title of Chamber president this year, local teacher Anna Bartos also claimed the 2022 Distinguished Citizen Award from the Chamber of Commerce. She is pictured here at the American Legion Hall on the night of that awards ceremiony this past March. Incidentally, she and several other young ladies and gentlemen with be headed right back there again in just 2 1/2 weeks for the annual Miss & Mr. Moulton Pageant. 61st Town & Country Jamboree just three weeks away

By ANNA BARTOS Moulton Chamber President With the dawn of July comes the excitement of Moulton’s biggest event, the Town and Country Jamboree, and this year marks the 61st celebration, a weekend full of fun and friends.
The Chamber's Miss Moulton, Junior Miss Moulton, Little Miss Moulton and Little Mister Moulton crowns will one again be up for grabs at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 24, but you've got to sign up by Tuesday, July 5. Here the current year's Chamber royalty poses for a picture at the recent Chisholm Trail Parade, where the team placed second in Chamber floats at the event held in Lockhart on Saturday, June 11.
