Law enforcement search following a traffic stop “bailout”

Lavaca County authorities are searching for a suspect who fled a traffic stop this past weekend.

According to the Lavaca County Sheriff ’s Office, deputies and assisting agencies began canvassing the area around State Highways 77 South and 111, near the Crossroads/Hope area.
