John "Johnny" Johnson

John "Johnny" Johnson, age 81, passed away Nov. 27. He was born Jan. 9, 1941 in Yoakum to Robert and Annie Mae Doolan Johnson. He worked in food service and served in the United States Air Force.

Sandra Gayle Daniels

Sandra Gayle Daniels, age 51, passed away Sept. 22. She was born Dec. 20, 1970 in Rosenberg to Stanley and Evelyn (Green) Snead. Most people knew her as "Sandy." She worked hard at Tandy Brand, Circle Y, Eddie Packing, and other jobs to provide for her two daughters.

Philip L. Hybner

Philip Louis Hybner was born August 23, 1926 in Shiner, Texas. He peacefully passed away at the age of 96 on November 30, 2022, in a Lufkin hospital with his children by his side. Philip was born to Adolph and Frances (Kurtz) Hybner, both families having immigrated from Czechoslovakia in the 1800’s.

Carol Ann Morris

Carol Ann Morris, 73, of Hallettsville, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2022.   She was born on Nov.  16, 1949, to Harold James Sr. and Betty Rodabaugh, in St. Paul, MN.   Carol Ann Morris was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Rodabaugh; her brother, Harold James Jr.

Georgia Meyer

On the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, Georgia Meyer passed away at the age of 94.  She was born in Shiner to Rose and Frank Kolacny. In 1947 she married Harry E. Meyer of Moulton. Together they raised three daughters, Gail, Linda and Betty Jean. They remained married for 44 years.

Randy Gay Squyres

Randy Gay Squyres, 70, of Gonzales passed away early Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 at her home with her devoted husband of 52 years by her side. She was just three months shy of her 71st birthday. She was born in Burnet on Feb.

Misty Nicole Tesch

Misty Nicole Tesch, 43, was a loving mother of three children, bonus mom to three, a beautiful fianceé, amazing daughter, the best sister, friend to all and stranger to none.  Misty gained her wings and golden ticket to walk through those Pearly Gates on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.

Carol Ann Morris, 73, of Hallettsville, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2022.   She was born on Nov.  16, 1949, to Harold James Sr. and Betty Rodabaugh, in St. Paul, MN.   Carol Ann Morris was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Rodabaugh; her brother, Harold James Jr.

Gene Joray Schulte

Gene Joray Schulte, 87, of Hope, passed away Fri, Nov.  25, 2022. He was born Sept. 17, 1935 in Lavaca County to Joe and Emilie Lucke Schulte. He married Wanda Hairell on June 22, 1957. They were married for 54 years before her death in 2012. Gene was a graduate of Hallettsville High School.

Bernice Irene Brown Woytek

Bernice Irene Brown Woytek, 75, of Hallettsville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022.   She met the love of her life, Lester James Woytek.  They were married June on 15, 1963.  Bernice took on many jobs where she met many great people who  ended up being lifelong friends.
